There have been a lot of names thrown out as potential new hosts in the wake of the news that Chris Harrison would be “stepping aside” from The Bachelor. While right now that just means he won’t be hosting the After the Final Rose special, fans can’t help but speculate that the reality show is about to make some major changes, and one of those changes might be a branding face lift. I’m still not convinced that the powers that be will actually kick Chris to the curb, but if they do, I’ve got the golden ticket of replacement ideas, and I’m happy to share this one for free. Are you ready, ABC? Hire Shaun Robinson from 90 Day Fiancé.
I know, I know. Right now, Rachel Lindsay is a fan favorite to take over the role, and she notoriously didn’t shut that idea down both during a recent reddit AMA and during an interview with E! News. While she also didn’t leap at the suggestion (and she previously said on “Higher Learning,” her podcast with Van Lathan, that she’s planning to disaffiliate with the franchise just as soon as her contract for her other podcast, “Bachelor Happy Hour,” is up), fans have taken that idea and run with it. And it’s a good idea! But if Rachel meant what she said about distancing herself from Bachelor Nation, Shaun Robinson would be a great candidate.
