Netflix, let me be clear here: You have to renew Sweet Tooth for Season 2, or I'll be forced to drown my sorrows in syrup. The end of the fantasy series' first season was an emotional rollercoaster, and I'm still reeling from the multiple shocks it delivered. Dr. Singh is actually going to dissect hybrid children? Birdie is in Alaska?? Wendy is Bear's little sister??? There are now so many things I need to see in Sweet Tooth Season 2, I almost don't know where to start. (Warning: I'm about to reveal a lot of spoilers.)
Note I said almost. If Season 1 was a rollicking adventure about a young man venturing out into the world for the first time, Season 2 should be about him finding his place in it. For the first time in his young life, Gus doesn't have an adult to guide him, and it's going to be up to him and Wendy to protect as many of the hybrids as they can.
Basically, I want all of the coming of age drama the writers can throw at me, with an extra helping of Jepp, Aimee, and Bear being overprotective badasses. I also want some answers to the overarching mystery that connects the hybrids to The Great Crumble. And maybe a few more of those killer folk music needle drops, just for fun.
