Danielle and Robert truly have seemed like goals since they first appeared together on Season 5 of Summer House when every one was working from home and living together. But now that restaurants are back open, Danielle's boyfriend, Robert, is a busy man. Like, so busy being a chef that he doesn't have time to go to the Hamptons ever weekend — and we get it, being a cast member is not something he signed up for, as much as I would have liked.
Luckily for the cast, Robert was filming over the 4th of July to make them lobsters. But what about us normal people — can we also eat some of Robert's fine cooking? His Instagram bio tells us that he's a chef and culinary director, but where? Let's investigate.
The Surf Lounge
I feel like I've seen quite a few influencers tag their location as The Surf Lodge in Montauk during the summer. But did you know that Robert was the executive chef there? So he's not so foreign to the New York getaway town as one may think!
The Snow Lounge
The founder of The Surf Lounge also opened The Snow Lodge in Aspen, where Robert is the executive chef as well.
Canary Club
Robert's Instagram feed is filled with yummy food from the Canary Club, a New Orleans-inspired restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. While the restaurant's website doesn't list Robert as a chef of the restaurant (nor could I find anything online about him working there), he's at minimum a fan!
Daintree
It appears Robert also helped to create the menu at Daintree, a Manhattan spot, which opened while the show was filming last summer. In June 2021, Danielle shared a post on Instagram that read, "So proud of this one @daintreenyc opening later this month."
In addition, Robert also use to be a chef at Breakers in Montauk and former restaurant LOOT. You could even sail around Manhattan while nomming on a 5-Course Seafood tasting menu prepared by our very own Robert as well once upon a quarantine.
