So, I would say that maybe Alex just didn't contribute anything interesting, BUT it's weird that they didn't even show him AT ALL. It's one thing to feature him dancing in the corner; it's another to erase him completely from the narrative. 

I would guess Bravo is seeing the reception to Alex, and just trying to phase him out? But it feels like a sudden choice. 

To not even give him some b-roll! Unreal! 

I mean, you can tell that the house itself isn’t too fond of him either. At this rate, I’m surprised he would even last the whole season. 

Yeah I found that super weird that he was edited out bc I mean even when he is there he is barely making an impact. I don’t see him coming back next summer. We MIGHT see Jason next week considering that I believe we still have more to see of Lindsays party. Also, was that Gabby that Andrea was on facetime with. 

Bravo even included Alex in the Instagram reel with their costumes! It would be one thing to not show him, but proactively faking he isn’t there is strange. Maybe they didn’t have the budget to pay him for the episode with Austen and Craig also appearing?

Whew that is brutal.  I feel bad for Alex.  He seems like a nice guy.  Certainly nicer than Austen “what do these girls see in him Kroll”!!!

Oooooof that has to hurt for Alex!!! Did he know he was going to be "written off" this episode???? I'm cringing for him. He seems niiiice and we've just ruined him for not binge-drinking and causing drama. 

I looked again — 19:53 into the episode, Danielle says, "I think we have the fullest house we ever had" and someone OFF CAMERA says "Well Alex isn't coming this weekend" (I THINK Mya?) and Amanda (OFF CAMERA) says "Oh he's not coming." Then cuts to Amanda asking where Austen is sleeping. 

GUYS THIS IS WEIRD. Was that dubbed in? Discuss. 

I  feel this was intentional after seeing Alex’s costume. To be clear, I’m not blaming him, nor do I think he meant it this way, BUT… the wolf headdress, the way the fake blood is painted on, the furry arm covers… it’s giving “culturally insensitive to Native Americans”, and Bravo has been in hot water enough times for that. You can literally see Alex in several shots at the party. He’s refilling ice when McKenzie and Carl are talking. That “Alex isn’t here” was absolutely dubbed over!

I heard a rumor that sometimes production will “displace” a character to see if the audience will react to them being gone.

Maybe a way to gauge how the audience feels about them. I have absolutely no idea if that is true, but an interesting theory. 

This is so weird. Didn't someone on the cast specifically say Alex wasn't going to be there that weekend for Lindsay's birthday? On top of that, Lindsay's boy from Winter House (Jason) was also at her party. (Both photographed being there — see: the egg/fertility balloons in this Instagram:

Why would they hide Alex? He's already a non-event... Is he that much of a disruptor that they had to cut him out completely? 

Jason, I kinda get. That's messy and with Austen there, they couldn't have too many storylines.
