This Summer House era feels like the bad Vanderpump era

Honestly, I didn’t have the highest of hopes for this season of Summer House (is it me, or does the cast seem a little too overexposed?), but I was so disappointed with the premiere. Carl clearly doesn’t want to do this anymore (can we blame him?), the new people are… fine, and Kyle is trying way too hard. The whole premiere to me felt like the coupled-up Vanderpump seasons: all manufactured drama, and a total snooze.

Hopefully the Danielle / Lindsay mess will make things more interesting, but I’m a bit over it. Am I alone?
