1) He has an ick factor, but not as big as an ick factor as Jordan

2) He seems harmless, which is better than predatory Jordan

3) He doesn't have a storyline, which is better than having a storyline about your fabricated sex life

4) He's not real friends with anyone, which means we won't have cast members take him out for drinks and ask him about his penis

5) He said he has an "angel" and a "less nice angel" on his shoulder. He's good people, just boring TV!

I love a random cast member every once in awhile, and one that doesn't fit in is often so fun to watch. It really helps underscore just how GOOD the actual cast is. So I'm thankful for Alex, but he can go now. 

Alex is just the definition of someone who just isn't made for TV. I'm sure he's nice, but nice doesn't always cut it when you're on Bravo. You need a spark, a flair, a vulnerability or at least be scheming up some drama. And so far Alex has done none of that. 

Well considering that Jordan has only been on for like four episodes maybe I am judging too early but with Jordan there was always some kind of drama. Even though he got on my nerves he had multiple storylines where I couldn’t help but be interested in them. He was annoying and did not belong on the cast but at least he was entertaining. 

I think Jordan was weird enough to make it more interesting, to be honest. Alex is just a huge dud. If you can’t have fun, why are you going to Summer House? Summer is supposed to be fun! 

I've been thinking about this since Alex joined the house — he's such a dud. But is he better than Jordan? Discuss.
