Summer House is bringing the heat this season with drama and new couples (Hi, Carl and Lindsay!). Also bringing the heat is newcomer Mya Allen, Summer House's newest cast member who is the girl you want in your summer share because she's the chef of the house.
As far as what she is all about: Maya is introduced as a business owner and baker. (Does that mean she owns her own bakery, you may ask? Me and my sweet tooth plan on investigating that!)
First off, did Mya go to culinary school?
Yes! After graduating with a BA from Colby College, she got a certificate from the International Culinary Center.
What did she do after college?
It seems like our girl has been hustling! She worked front of house at a bakery before training with Carlo Mirarchi, a well known chef in New York. She then went on to manage and be in charge of operations at multiple restaurants before going on to be a freelance private chef.
So does she own her own Bakery?
Kind of! Our new bestie Mya is indeed a business owner. She owns The Knead, a "New York based online cookie delivery shop." Thankfully for all of us Summer House fans, she ships nation wide.
But are the cookies good?
The chocolate chip cookies look amazing. While I have yet to try them, according to the reviews on the website, "they are tasty, moist, and delicious" and the "BEST COOKIES IN THE WORLD!"
Nothing goes better with some home-baked cookies than an ice cold Lover Boy, am I right? Guess she can add "reality TV star" and "influencer" to her LinkedIn, too.
