A rooftop pool and you’re not taking advantage??? I have to walk five buildings over for my pool. Honestly you don’t need anything too expensive because I assume you should be going to this pool to have fun and just look cute.

Honestly, it’s boring, but I have never went wrong with Roxy. They’re cheap, fit well, and offer tons of options. I always feel disappointed when I get one — it’s like, is there no other brand? — but I’ve been wronged every other time I’ve branches out. 

I recently bought one from American Eagle and was really happy with it. I like being able to mix and match the tops and bottoms and AE has that option. 

Mostly Aerie. Sometimes I splurge for an Athleta suit. But Aerie is very reliable! A lot of mix and match tops and bottoms.

Ugh buying bathing suits is the worst. And they've gotten so expensive too. I splurged on a top from Athleta, which is very comfortable and supportive. I don't think they still sell the one I have, but this is similar:

I'm a 30 year old woman and have no idea where to buy a swimsuit. My apartment building has a rooftop pool (brag) and I didn't even use it last year (besides just laying on one of the lounges) because I couldn't find a suit I actually liked. I feel like as a kid, my mom took care of this kinda thing and just got me a swimsuit from wherever she was shopping that day. I didn't care! Camp kids didn't care! But now... I feel like I have to have something semi-cute but also something I'm comfortable in. I've tried the IG-friendly ones, like Summersalt, and wasn't crazy about the one I got. But maybe I just didn't get the right style! Looking forward to your suggestions — it's getting hot in my town, and mama is ready for the SUN!
