Who’s the next “it” cast member?

You know what I’m talking about — the cast member who breaks out, gets all the sketches, and becomes the bonafide SNL star of the moment?

Previous recent “it” cast members have included Jimmy Fallon, Kristen Wiig, and, most recently Kate McKinnon. But now that it seems Kate’s time is likely ending soon, who will wear the 👑 now?

(Note: Pete might seem the easy answer, but Pete has never been the “it” person on the show; he might be the most well-known cast member, but he doesn’t appear in enough sketches for the title.)
