I honestly was so impressed, though not surprised. I've found that the double dippers are usually the best episodes, honestly. She was fantastic. So happy for her! 

Is it too much to ask for a Miley-Dolly double duty episode?

I’ll always remember the Britney Titanic sketch 😂 

I thought the episode was ok…I love Lizzo but she was breaking a lot which always throws me. 

My all-time favorite double duty host is Chance the Rapper. I legitimately think the guy could join the cast full-time, and blend in perfectly. I was blown away by his comedic timing. The hockey sketch? Perfection. 

Just loved this episode. Most hosts are always reading the cue cards, she was so natural.

Lizzo can do absolutely anything, and that was on full display last night as she pulled double duty as host and musical guest during Saturday Night Live. Of course, she's not the first star to pull off this accomplishment, as other SNL double dippers have included the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Mick Jagger (NOT FUNNAYYYYYY

But, there's just something about Lizzo, isn't there? She's so talented and unafraid to put herself out there, which is exactly what you need to be a host AND musical guest on the show. Plus, she managed to pull herself together when she started to break during this game show sketch:
