My parents knew each other in MIDDLE school and started dating in High School. Wild right!?

Lynne, hilarious! My parents met in college. Dad got kicked out bc he was a troublemaker, but they reunited years later because they were both in the same big circle of friends. My mom basically proposed to him in a “do I have to do this for you” kinda way at a library on a rainy day in the car and I think she’s been asking “do I have to do this for you” every day since! For 35 years! 

My parents met at a bar in San Diego. My mom lived in San Diego and just wanted to go out one night with her friends. My dad was visiting southern California from West Virginia with three of his friends and went to the same bar that night. He met my mom there and wanted to know her more, so he overstayed his visit. Fast forward three months, they got married and are still married to this day.

Oh I love this! My parents met in a bar. My mom was waiting on a friend to join her for drinks and and this guy was really drunk and wouldn’t leave her alone. So my dad recognized this guy was being a creep and stepped in and was like “hey, she’s with me” and the rest is history. I just thought it was so cute. Maybe not a knight in shining armor but certainly a beer baron. 

My parents met when my dad was a manager at this restaurant and my mom was a bartender. ROMANCE! VANDERPUMP RULES WHO?!!?

How my great-grandparents met: my great-grandpa was dating my great-grandma’s best friend, and the best friend was dying to introduce her to her new boyfriend. The boyfriend and best friend meet, instantly fall in love, 8 hours later were engaged, and a few days later were married and stayed together the rest of their lives.

According to family, the best friend wasn’t mad about it at all, because back then women focused so hard on getting married that the friend was happy they found each other.

My parents worked at a casino together, but were in different departments. One day they both attended a work picnic, which he had been heavily drinking at LOL. When my mom arrived, their boss wanted to introduce them, and in doing so, my dad grabbed my mom and started making out with her.  The rest is history. Together for 35 years and counting!

My dad was the mail room guy in my mom's office! 

My parents met on a bowling group date freshman year of college. She told him he had kind eyes. Have been together over 40 years now!

The modern way of meeting is so different from the old school ways. Or are they?

My parents met in high school but didn’t date until after college. My mom proposed to my dad in the back of a cab. He’s just been drafted to Vietnam.
