My cat will always be my best bud, but my partner is a close second. Not because I feel he HAS to be, but because he's there, so it's inevitable that we talk about things constantly. That said, I do feel it's important to make sure you have relationships outside of your partner. 

Yes, but I always tell people your partner shouldn’t be your only bestfriend. I think it’s important that any relationship is built off a friendship but also think you need other friends/bestfriends outside of your partner. 

I don’t think they have to be your only best friend, but I think they should definitely be one of them!

Been thinking about this one a lot… is your partner your best friend? And more importantly… do they have to be? Would love your thoughts on this one as I go back and forth!
