I think you have the right read -- he's doing this to either appease his guilt or keeping you wondering if he's interested, which keeps the door open for him if/when he wants to actually reach out. And let's say he does actually want to reach out. He can text you. (Even tho you don't have have his # I'm sure you'll know who it is.) So I'd hide your posts from him. It's taking up too much of your brainspace, which he doesn't deserve. And again, if he wants to reach out, for real, he knows how to

How much does it affect you to see him liking your posts? If it has a negative effect, then I would block, just as you did on your phone. Posting should be fun; it shouldn't fill you with anxiety when you see him like something. 

Post one more super hot photo of yourself, and then block him. Go out on top. 

That's called breadcrumbing. It's keeping you on the hook with little to no effort. It's mean and honestly just unfair to you. Personally, I'd block him entirely or hide your posts or something from him so he doesn't get updates on your life. He doesn't deserve them! 

I was ghosted a few months ago and I have completely disengaged on my end (took him out of my phone, muted him on all social media) but he's still following me on all social and liking A LOT of my posts, especially on Instagram. I'm guessing this is either a way to appease his guilt (see, I didn't ghost entirely) or a way to keep me on the line. Has this happened to any of you? How did you deal with it? Should I just go the next step and block him entirely? Did I mention I hate dating?
