'RHOP' Recap: Zen Wen Isn't So Zen

Somewhere in the outskirts of Potomac an alarm clock goes off just shy of 8:30 in the morning, waking up a confused Robyn Dixon. In the distance the sound of Juan Dixon coaxing her awake is also heard. Once she rises, Robyn heads into one of her children’s bedrooms to wake him up for virtual school, which began just minutes after his little eyes saw the first light of day. Following this, Robyn returns to bed, only to be woken up again by Juan begging her to wake up their other child just moments before his school begins, as well.

All of this begs the question: Why couldn’t Juan Dixon wake up these kids before the virtual school bell rang if he was so concerned? Robyn, who doesn’t ask this question herself admits to being burned out due to the pandemic and feels as though she’s losing her motivation in life.

In another part of Potomac, Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby meet up for coffee and cake, where Gizelle asks Ashley all about the aspects of her upcoming baby. Gizelle admits that Michael and his adulterous behavior makes her nervous for baby number two. She also implies that Michael could get it on with their new nanny, because, again, he’s an admitted adulterer. But, Ashley seems okay with how he’ll behave, so she has no nerves regarding his possible infidelities. Ashley does bring up Gizelle’s absence from Karen’s Love Lunch the previous weekend and updates Gizelle on what negative things Mia was saying about Gizelle in her absence. Unfazed, Gizelle moves the topic of conversation to ask Ashley how she’d feel about being the guest of honor at a Pamper Ashley Party before the baby arrives. Ashley agrees only if Karen, Gizelle’s enemy, and Mia, Gizelle’s soon to be enemy, are invited. Reluctantly, Gizelle agrees, all for Ashley.
