Welcome to 13 Questions With... in which we ask our favorite Bravolebrities 13 questions about themselves to see what weird and wonderful things we can learn about them. Today, we're talking to D'Andra Simmons of Real Housewives of Dallas.
When D'Andra Simmons joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Dallas in its second season, she ushered in a new era of the show. She, along with Season 2's other new girl, Kameron Westcott, took the already glitzy show — hello? It's Dallas, after all! They know glitz — to a whole new level. And here's why: To paraphrase Nene Leakes, they are very rich, bitch.
But being very rich alone does not a good Housewife make. In a 2013 Real Housewives of Orange County special episode commemorating the show's 100th episode, Bravo Daddy Andy Cohen laid out his criteria for what makes a good Housewife.
"A good Real Housewife is pretty, she's outspoken, she's opinionated, she's got strong feelings about the way she lives her life and about the way others should live their lives," he told producers.
D'Andra checks all those boxes and then some — she also has a hot husband, a former-beauty queen mother who has a hardscrabble Southern retort for every situation and, as we learned when we asked her our 13 Questions, a pretty impressive secret talent.
