The Jamie Vs. Roger Phenomenon

Do you think you had a hard time accepting Roger because of your established love for Jamie? I don't feel the need to compare these two male characters, but I know a lot of people didn't like Roger when he came onto the scene as a main character because of their differences.

Maybe it's because I'd be farrrrrr more compatible with Roger than Jamie (don't hate me! that just gives all you Jamie lovers one less person to fight over him with). And it's not like Roger hasn't disappointed me at times (Show Roger a whole lot more than Book Roger). But so has Jamie! I guess I'm just content to let Claire & Jamie's relationship and Brianna & Roger's relationship be their own separate things and not compare these two dudes.
