Definitely not 2000, but maybe 1994. Good music, fun fashion. I'd want to be mid-twenties and ballin'.

1997-1999 were amazing years, but early 2000s internet was incredible. Ebaum's world, Slick Willie, dancing hamsters... it was so ridiculous and fun and honestly seemed the opposite of nefarious. Those were also the years I joined Friendster, lol. 

In the year 2000, I was listening to Fastball and lathering on my sun-ripened raspberry lotion.

I wish I could go back to 1996, though, when the Spice Girls blew my mind, and I bought my first platform sneakers. 

It would be so interesting to live as an adult in a time that didn't require 24/7 connectivity. Before smartphones, ya left work, and that was it! I'd love to live in that era. I'd miss Google Maps and texting, but it might be worth it.

With all of the chaos of the last few years and months, I just want to go back to the year 2000 - when I had just finished high school, the internet was in its infancy, Myspace background were the only thing I had to worry about, and I hadn't yet thought of low-rise jeans. 

In my trip back in time, I want to go back with the means that I have now as a fully-fledged adult, just with no responsibilities. Does this make sense? It sounds like a lovely dream to me.
