Ugh they couldn't decide THIS before The Irishman came out. 

Thank god, because I started watching '40 Love' on Netflix and it was so AGGRESSIVELY bad that I was almost flabbergasted that they would put it on Netflix. (I'm a sucker for a tennis movie, so I'll watch anything related to the sport.) I stopped after 20 minutes, before we even got to the tennis part! LOL

Seems they realize they have to keep up with HBO. It’s healthy, and if they keep producing shows at the level of Stranger Things, I’ll be psyched.

Finally, some good news out of Netflix: Looks like the high-volume, middling quality approach of their movies might be ending, based on this piece from The Hollywood Reporter:

I feel like Stranger Things made it only clearer that Netflix had waned in quality over the years — it's SUCH a good season, that it felt like an outlier, and something we hadn't seen on Netflix in years. I'm hoping this move means that we're going to be more satisfied moving forward, and it's not all just going to be Kissing Booth sequels.
