Everything I watched as a child, which means a lot of classic movie musicals. Singin’ In the Rain and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in particular — super cheesy, with a helluva lot of technicolor. 

Also, MST3K is another nostalgic fave. One of the earliest Comedy Central series. 

I LOVE watching stupid comedies when I need some comfort. Like Anchorman, Step Brothers, Old School, Blades of Glory… something that will help me turn my brain off completely and just bask in stupidity. 

Usually, anything Will Ferrell will do (more recently, Eurovision), but if I want to go older, Airplane scratches an itch for sure. 

Ghost and Dirty Dancing. Not because of Swayze, both just make me feel good.

Also, SPY with Melissa McCarthy. Show me a better movie? 

Jurassic Park. It’s so familiar at this point that it’s comforting

Isn't It Romantic, My Best Friend's Wedding, and any/all of the Fast Franchise. 

I have been craving comfort movies. And for some reason my go-to is Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings or like a 90's rom com (You've Got Mail, Serendipity, My Best Friends Wedding). I just love them all and find so much comfort in them. I think for LOTR and Harry Potter its the fact that 1. it's not real 2. there are many of them 3. they go on for so long, so its peak relaxation. 

COMFORT MOVIES
