First of all let me just say, I am so happy to be writing Married to Medicine recaps. We're in Season 8, Episode 3, but don't worry, you can jump right in. It's the most slept-on show on Bravo, or at least maybe the least talked about on social media, and I am here to recap this show to recruit M2M stans. Much like the Girl Scouts or a Jehovah’s Witnesses, I will not stop until everyone gets on board.
If you’re new to the series (welcome!!) here is a quick run down:
— Dr. Jackie Walters (OBGYN) and Dr. Simone Whitmore (OBGYN) are former BFF’s/coworkers/Yin and Yang. They were like sisters! Then,,, Dr. Simone felt that Dr. Jackie was taking Dr. Heavenly’s side over hers last season and it caused ~controversy~.
— Toya Bush-Harris (educator; mother) is in her new house, struggling with the pandemic along with the rest of America, but she is complaining about it to her husband… DOCTOR Eugene. You can’t complain about the pandemmy to a literal doctor on the front lines because you want to be a lady who lunches. But tbh, I respect her honesty in wanting to be a Woman Of The Tennis Court with a glass of rosé.
— Dr. Contessa Metcalfe (physician) and her husband Dr. Scott have had a rough go of it the last couple years and they are trying to find their footing as a couple.
