Premium- Married at First Sight -8 ‘Married At First Sight: Unmatchables’ Facts Revealed By Cast Members Renise & Chaz
Lifetime has expanded its Married At First Sight universe — much to the benefit of us, and a selection of singles that didn't quite make the show's cut the first time around. This summer, the network premiered a spin-off, Unmatchables, which follows the would-be MAFS contestants that need a little polishing before they can make it to primetime. Each episode focuses on two “unlucky-in-love” singles — and after the completion of their relationship bootcamp (led by experts Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Viviana Coles), everything they’ve learned is put to the test during a blind date.
It's a wild — and extremely watchable — premise, but what is it like to live it? The Dipp caught up with Episode 7 stars Renise (33, a Harry Potter fan and kinky sex enthusiast) and Chaz (30, a serial dater who lives like a college student) in an exclusive Lifetime & Lounge Clubhouse conversation conversation to get all the behind-the-scenes secrets that didn’t make the final cut. And boy, did they spill. Here are nine things you need to know about Chaz and Renise’s Unmatchable episode.
The Term “Unmatchable” Doesn’t Mean What You Think It Means
If you’re like me, the title Unmatchables might imply that the cast members are hopelessly destined to forever be alone. However, according to Renise, the term isn’t meant to suggest you are unmatchable for life — it simply means the experts weren’t able to find them a match for you for Married At First Sight. Despite the misunderstanding, Chaz clarified that they’ve taken a lighthearted approach to the show’s title. “I definitely didn't love being called unmatchable,” he said. “But we laugh about it now.”
