I feel like it would be an interesting enough experience to try. There's always the threat that you'll come across as a Jessica, but, also, Netflix is not really in the game of humiliating its talent in the same way that the traditional networks are. So your reputation will probably not be damaged — at worst, you'll just be publicly rejected (which I guess is heartbreaking in itself). 

The fact that Barnett and Amber are still together STUNS me. That seemed ripe for implosion. 

I love watching the show but if I had to be a contestant, I'd just... suck. As a somewhat quiet person who needs to feed off the physical energy of the other person, i would just crumble. No way I could talk to a wall. God speed to those who can! (I have five siblings -- never got a word in -- I blame them.)

I'm from Chicago and had a friend apply to be on this season of Love Is Blind. (She didn't get it, which worked out because she's in an LTR now — they casted a WHILE ago). And at the time I was like, you're crazy! But after watching the first few episodes of this season (and all of last), I'm kind of like... wait, is this really that bad of an idea? 

The timeline is so rushed — but the success rate doesn't lie. Maybe there's something to meeting blindly and forming that connection before introducing the superficiality into the romance. There obviously NEEDS to be a connection, but look at Lauren/Cameron or Barnett/Amber (eek)... they're still going strong!
