Nick's family had weird vibes

Okay, so, I'm a little behind, I know. (Don't worry — I have all the spoilers, so I know what's to come.) But I just watched episode 7, when we meet Nick's family.

First off, I don't necessarily think Nick and Danielle belong together, nor do I think meeting someone through a pod is the best grounds for marriage, but his family was just straight-up rude to both of them. (I also hate the "what-are-your-intentions" conversation that parents have with their future DILs or SILs — especially when we're talking about a man in his mid-30s. Calm down.)

But, also, Nick's family didn't seem to at all match his personality, and he seemed so uncomfortable with them, which made ME uncomfortable. Did anyone else pick up on a weird vibe?
