Everything Shayne Said On 'The Viall Files' About His Life After 'Love Is Blind'

So far Shayne has been pretty quiet on social media and in the press about his experience on Love Is Blind. Well, that all was until yesterday when Shayne was the guest on this week's episode of The Viall Files and had a lot to say. He was loose lipped and spilling all the tea on his perspective of what went down on season two of Love Is Blind. Adding to the drama, Natalie posted a lengthy reply to this interview on her Instagram stories.

Since I'm such a good friend, I listened to the interview, wrote it all down, and compared it to Natalie's response so you don't have too. You're welcome.

In regards to the rumors surrounding his drug use on the show...

Shayne said that he did not do drugs on the show but has in the past, saying that "We've all had our times in our lives when we've done certain things." He elaborated that he has severe ADHD and also drinks a lot of espresso: "I usually have five in the morning, three at night. And then maybe like a pre-workout for like later... If people thought I was doing cocaine, I was mic'd up the whole time. Everyone would have heard me do it."

In regards to the moment on the show where Shayne thought Natalie was Shaina...

Shayne said that, "I'm not gonna make an excuse for the situation cause how I handle it was horrible. I regret it. And yes, I made a mistake by calling her the wrong name... You have no idea who you're going in the room with..."

When asked if he was becoming more aware about himself after watching the show back...

Shayne referenced the moment when he "gastlit Natalie" saying, "I need to learn how to just listen and not having such a reactive emotion right away."

When talking about his appearance at the wedding...

Shayne said that, "I looked like I was coked out of my mind. I didn't sleep for two days straight because I had no idea what she was going to say at the altar. No idea... My whole family's in town. I was so embarrassed — my anxiety was going crazy."

When talking about about getting to the altar...

Shayne clarified that, "you have to go to the altar. The night before... I hit up some of the producers and whatnot, and I'm like, I can't do this." They said "we have to see it through."

In regards to that big fight before Shayne and Natalie's wedding...

Shayne explained that all the girls and guys were having a big party and Natalie called Shayne out for being drunk. Shayne responded with "I can't do this anymore," acknowledging how over dramatic he got. He added, "but the same time, it's like, this has been... weeks of buildup from us... she would always pick, pick, pick, pick little things that I did wrong and never like, appreciate anything I did right for her all the time...I called off the engagement again that night, obviously very dramatic, but like, I mean, I can't marry you. I'm never going to be enough for you. And it's like, you honestly like make me feel like I'm just not a good person." He did also tell her that he hated her, to which he apologized for and admitted he was very wrong.

Natalie said on her Instagram that "a major factor to our breakup last year is I found what I considered to be very flirtatious messages between him and other women... this is something we have discussed numerous times."

In regards to their conversations that were shown...

Shayne revealed that Natalie wanted to "curate" their conversations and plan it out before the cameras rolled.

Natalie refuted this saying that "I never told Shayne what to say nor did we ever discuss or plan what to say in certain scenes. I did, however set boundaries with filming- specifically asked him to not drink alcohol before 'serious' scenes and not share in-depth details of our intimacy out of respect for my family"

In regards to the conversation he had with Shaina at the beach...

Shayne explained that Natalie was suppose to talk to her next and literally "ran away" from the conversation.

Natalie refuted this saying "I had the conversation with her but it did not air. All the cast members were present for this scene, including Shayne."

In regards to them trying their relationship again post show...

Shayne reveals that they tried to get back together "four times after the show. Just recently this past weekend."

Natalie clarified that "we dated twice after our wedding, not four times."

When asked what it was about Natalie...

Shayne said that she made him feel "safe. I just knew it would always work out. It was easy."

In regards to his other cast members...

Shayne said that he's"not really [talking to] anyone." He continued that, "a lot of stuff has happened outside of the show right now where it's like, it's just drama... it's like a new story about me every single time with them. And like, I, I feel like I always get attacked by the whole group of them and they're always on Natalie's side more than mine...I don't need to deal with it. I'm friends with some of them, yeah, for sure...I love Nick and Daniel. I love those two. They're fantastic...I talk to Jarrett still...I use to hang out Deepti...but she's friends with Natalie."

When asked if he was done with Natalie...

Shayne confirmed that, "I am now officially. It's over. And actually this is the first time I can confidently say that."

Natalie added that she told Shayne "he was 'disgusting' Sunday night because he called me to tell me he was going to 'bury me' and 'drag me down with him' on the podcast because I ended any chance of reconciliation, in addition to him feeling I didn't speak highly enough of him in the media."

When asked about his dating life...

Shayne said that, "I haven't been on one dating since the show finished, except for Natalie."
