Feel the same way about Elrond as you do about Halbrand. That's a Cool Guy Cut! It kind of pulls you out of it — I want to see GRIT.

It's always so jarring when the style of the show differs from the styling as described in the books. I also hate when an actor's voice doesn't match the voice of the character I had heard in my head when reading the book. Now, there is no solve for that, but I gotta say, when Timothee Chalammemementeeee was Laurie in Little Women, it threw me.

I have been cautiously optimistic about the series this whole run (and the character posters recently released looked awesome), but I’m a bit confused about some of the styling here. These elven haircuts do not look at all elven — in fact, Halbrand looks like he could have stepped straight out of 2022. It’s all a bit too clean.

Also, Tolkien has said that dwarf women have beards and that is not seen here!
