YES. I feel this. Especially shows with long runs like OTH. I’m currently rolling through all 15 seasons of Criminal Minds, and I know I’m gonna feel a little emptier inside when I’m done. Yes, I can always rewatch it, but it’s never as good as the first time. 

Also felt this with Jane the Virgin, Good Girls, and Drop Dead Diva.

Good news is you can start the show again and they’re not goin anywhere! I get the withdrawal feeling but I find returning to those comfort shows never get old. 

i think i do this with every single form of media i attach myself onto, which is why i can never watch movies. tv shows give me the hope that there's more to come, and also coming soon!

Am I the only one who goes through withdrawals when a TV show ends and you feel like a chapter of your life is over or am I just being dramatic? 

This is embarrassing to say but when I finished One Tree Hill for the first time, I remember feeling like I lost my best friends LOL. TV is like an escape from real life and I get way too invested.
