Open Book is a GREAT read. Also wanna throw out there Demi Moore's Inside Out! 

OK I didn't read the memoir, but I listened to the 'Celebrity Book Club' podcast about it (the pod hilariously reviews celeb memoirs) and Sinead O'Conner's sounded BRUTAL. I had no idea the abuse she suffered from her mother. Absolute torture.

The pod also reviewed Kristin Cavallari's cookbook and treated it as a memoir, and that cookbook sounds like the most delicious hate-read. It sounded NashVillian to the MAX. I think the hosts spent like 15 mins alone roasting her kitchen island 😂

I think that Jessica Simpson’s “Open Book” was beyond good. She really opened up and shared all the stuff, good, bad and really ugly. So good.  There’s some others that were good but I just feel out of all the ones I’ve read lately, hers was the most open and honest and worth a read whether or not you’re a fan. 

I loved Trevor's Noah's, "Born a Crime". The whole story was interesting. He told serious things in a way that made us think but also laugh. I recommend it to everyone.

…I loved Tori Spelling’s “sTORI Telling.” So juicy, and surprisingly very, very funny. 

I wanted to like Yes Please and Bossypants more than I did (they both felt very phoned in from women who are such great writers), but I have always really loved Chelsea Handler's books. They're less memoir than essay collection, but she's SUCH a funny writer (her writing is much better than her comedy, imo). 

I have been an avid reader for quite some time, with my favorite genres being female-led thrillers or a celebrity tell all. 

In your opinion, what are some of the greatest celebrity memoirs? "Un-Sweetined" by Jodie Sweetin is at the top of my list, but "Open Book" by Jessica Simpson also is top tier. 

If we're talking high drama and tea worthy of a royal party, though, it HAS to be "Mommie Dearest." Christina was NOT holding back.
