I go almost weekly, and I love it. Typically always get 2nd or 3rd place. Always the bridesmaid. 

If you find a fun host who does general pop culture trivia, it’s SO fun. The worst ones are the ones that are so specific that they go way too deep. I once went to a Simpsons trivia night thinking I was a big enough fan to do well, and I think I got, like, 2 questions right. 

My friends and I went to a trivia night a local pub for about 1 1/2 years when we were in our early 20s.  I don't see why you would have anxiety about other people being there, makes it a lot more fun and competitive.  Scope out who you think is a good team etc.  It was a blast all those years ago.  

I LOVE trivia nights. I used to go ALL the time. In fact, when I was in my mid-late twenties and meeting new people in a new city, a trivia night was the perfect way to break the ice on a friend "first date." There's an activity, you get to chat in between questions, and you get to know them via their trivia know-how. Love it, highly recommend.

I LOVE trivia nights! Having random knowledge tucked away in my back pocket has to pay off somehow! It’s the most fun when you have a group but I’ve been places with a girlfriend or just my husband when they’ve had trivia and we’ve impromptu played and have done terrible and no one knows it’s us because we have such a vague team name. 

As someone with immense social anxiety I can understand your apprehension but trust me know one else is worrying about you. They’re just focused on winning! 

I have never been to a real live trivia night. I’ve done it at my friends house but not like at a bar or anything. Has anyone been to a trivia night? Was it anxiety inducing because there were other people there? Was it themed? Was the host cringe or funny or way too serious?
