David Schwimmer Might Have Been Jealous Of A Monkey, So, Yes, You Could Be Pettier

Call up Ryan Murphy, because we have another iconic Hollywood feud on our hands. One month after David Schwimmer claimed that Marcel the Monkey (née Katie) "didn't do its job right" during the HBO Max Friends reunion, trainer Mike Morris is hitting back, claiming Schwimmer was just "jealous" of Marcel's scene-stealing tactics. "The first couple episodes he was pretty friendly with the monkey and after that, the monkey was getting a lot of laughs," he told The Sun. "Schwimmer was talking ill of the dead when he made those comments." (Spoiler alert: Katie the monkey is apparently dead.)

Schwimmer's opinion of Katie the monkey is not new — he told Entertainment Weekly back in 1995 that he wished "it were dead." So I suppose you can manifest the future?

But this is just one of the low-brow topics we touch on in today's new episode of Pop Chaser, as well as some high-brow news surrounding Succession and the Cannes Film Festival. Adam Driver fans — you're going to want to listen to this one.
