If you want to experience prime second-hand embarrassment, Mulaney’s short-lived sitcom is terrible and features some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen on television. Brilliant comedian; terrible, terrible actor. 

I mean Jerry Seinfeld was definitely the worst on his own show. 

It’s SUCH a different art form that only a few can do it really well. (Off the top of my head, the ones that are also GOOD actors are Ricky Gervais, Wanda Sykes, and, hate to say it, Louis CK, not that I want to see anything from him anymore.)

Mostly, you have comedians that play versions of themselves when they do act, like Bill Burr. But agree with people here that Seinfeld and Mulaney are particularly rough.

Yeah Seinfeld is the best answer! THAT SAID I think he did a good job in that Bee movie 

We all have one. Who is a comedian that can make you LOL during stand up but when they act it’s cringeworthy. For me, Kevin Hart was terrible his first few years after blowing up but now I can say he’s getting better at acting. Especially in serious roles.
