I feel like it's the easiest thing -- just like the candle craze we're seeing. I could be wrong, but I feel like they just hire teams to come up with the formulas and they put their name/face on it? But seems like skincare would be a lot riskier (and more expensive) of a business than candles! 

They're all definitely the type that gets a compliment on their skin once and says "I should do a skincare line". Skincare lines of the 20's are the fashion lines (and fashion shows) of the Bravo 2010's.

I'd also like to add the makeup lines into this convo. I love Lala but Give Them Lala will never be a Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit, sorry not sorry.

Oof yeah, some of their entrepreneuring (sp?) efforts are super cringe. Like Whitney dropping a million dollars on "The Rebrand" for her cosmetics line. What the hell kind of decision is that?!

Anytime any of the housewives drop Skincare lines i always have to side eye them bc I’m like I know you probably see a top dermatologist and don’t really use those products. Kandi & Bethenny might be the only ones I could see truly putting work into their products bc they value their brand. I also kind of think are you doing this for a storyline or is this actually something you want to do bc most times we see it one season & never see it again

There are so many housewife businesses that have been created since the beginning of the show, or should I say, the moment Bethenny hit it big with Skinny Girl. It started it all, and showed these women they can really market themselves while filming. 

But one thing I don't understand, is why do they ALL decide to do a skincare line? They are not Dr.'s, dermatologists, estheticians... And all of it is just a money grab or an attempt at one. 

Gina, Ramona (twice), Heather and Terry Dubrow, Whitney Rose. All think they are suddenly going to be the next ProActiv. It's so weird to me. Why not do literally anything else.
