The fandom has made its perspective clear: Big Brother fans don't want to watch spon-con chasers. Or showmances. Or cast members who have never watched the game. And, for the first time in at least nine seasons, it seems CBS might have finally listened. Because this season's Big Brother cast actually seems kind of... good.
Now, call me a woodpecker, because I'm knocking on all the wood. Trust me — as a Big Brother fan, I understand that its contestants are made to disappoint us. But, for this sweet, probably fleeting moment, it seems we might actually be seeing a next generation of Big Brother, that features people who actually know and love the game. And, like a McDonald's Happy Meal, we're (da da da da da) absolutely lovin' it.
