I have stick straight hair and always wanted curly. Grass is always greener as you say. But I would say I’m most annoyed with my straight hair for two reasons: 1) sometimes it can feel flat, and I always wish I had the volume of curly haired people, and 2) you pretty much have to style it or blow it dry every day if you want to wear it down. You get weird kinks in it otherwise that just look terrible. 

I have curly hair and end up straightening it for every special occasion. Or wearing it up 90% of the time. The frizz is too much to deal with. So I’m following along with your journey. Please let us know if you actually go through with it!

I’ve always been hesitant of the hair straightening stuff bc of the chemicals you breathe in. Didn’t one of them have formaldehyde?? Maybe things have changed!

I have curly hair (I think it’s a curl between 2 and 3) and I am over it. It’s hard to wear it down and look neat, and so I always wear it up. And it’s unpredictable. I just want hair I can count on, you know? Lol

I’m thinking of getting it chemically straightened. I hear it lasts several months and it’d give me a chance to see if I prefer it to the curls.

Straight hair people, am I missing anything? The grass seems so green on your side.
