Who's a villain in an American Horror Story season and who's not isn't always cut and dry. In fact, it's often cut and bloody, but certainly, child prodigy Alma is the villain of AHS: Double Feature. Spoilers ahead. Of course, the character played by newcomer Ryan Kiera Armstrong is not alone in that with Frances Conroy's Belle Noir eating babies and Finn Wittrock's Harry gaslighting his wife. But she is up there with some of the worst AHS baddies, so will Alma survive "Red Tide"?
After taking her first pill, Alma was already cold-blooded and supercilious. But when her mom Doris came home from the hospital to the Provincetown home with her new baby brother in "Gaslight," she took an even more evil turn. Knowing her mother was without exceptional talent, Alma masterfully manipulated her mommy into taking the pill, turning Doris into a Pale Person. Why? Because Alma and Ursula believed she was only going to get in the way of Alma and Harry's greatness.
Now, Father of the Year Harry could have avoided all of this if he had just let Doris return to New York City with their newborn son. Or, if he didn't keep supplying his 9-year-old daughter with human blood from his murder victims. But alas, here we are and Alma has certainly made a case for herself as the evilest character of "Red Tide." So, she's got to die in the finale, right?
