Very normal! I always assumed it was cats who were the sleepy pets but dogs might have them beat. My dog sleeps a hell of a lot for a being that has no obligations/chores/bills. I want her life. 

Yesterday my dog slept from 7pm until 2pm THE NEXT DAY. So no your dog doesn’t sleep too much. She’s just a lazy girl like the rest of us. 

Your dog is sleeping well, and it's not a cause for concern.  My dog's schedule is about the same, from 9am to 5pm sleep time, with a wake up break at lunch time for potty time.  Then he's awake for about three 1/2 hours before winding down on his chew chew and going to sleep at 9pm.  I wish I could wind down with a chew chew as well, but I'm here taking melatonin trying to get 6 hours of sleep.  Our dogs have the life. 

So, I know dogs sleep a lot, after a lot of late-night google searches such as, "is my dog depressed", and "does my dog like me", I know that they sleep a lot. But sometimes I worry my dog maybe sleeps too much! She sleeps from like 10 am to 4 pm every single day and I have to drag her off the bed, and outside.
