I think I'm going to have a private chef come and do a cooking class in my home and then we can eat dinner together while also doing a lil activity! Just a life update if anyone wants to steal the idea. 

Spa for sure! She will probably be so appreciative!

What is her taste? What gifts have you gotten her before that she's liked? 

I'll take her out for a nice dinner since I figure since I don't live nearby anymore, spending quality time is so important. 

Just no candles! IDK it's just a weird gift. 

I like the spirit of a spa gift card, but as someone who never spends her gift cards, it could end up going unused. Instead, I recommend bathroom goodies that can make her FEEL like she’s in a spa.

I use both of these regularly  and love them!

I feel like moms rarely ever treat themselves -- so maybe a nice spa day/facial kinda thing? You can either go with her, or maybe meet her for lunch/dinner later in the day too.

I always buy my mom something I KNOW she would never buy for herself, like a fancier sweater or a nice wrap dress. Something I know she wants, but can't "justify" spending money on. 

I almost just bought my mom an avocado tree but then learned those puppies get BIG! So this is to say, following for ideas! 

Coffee & tea related items are always really nice for Mother's Day, if she drinks either. A tea set can be sweet, with a few different kinds, a nice new mug and maybe a candle. Or upgrade her coffee stuff - maybe a Le Creuset ceramic French press if she's into that and would use it. 

HI! I am struggling with Mothers Day Gifts (it's also her bday that week too, so double whammy). But for real. The selection for "mothers day gifts" curated online are truly my mom's worst nightmare. They are all so tacky, and useless. I want to get her something nice, that she will either use or wear. Not just a little knick knack.
