If Season 8 was the very first season of 90 Day Fiancé that you ever tuned into, odds are that Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi may very well seem to you like one of the couples with the most potential on the show. Rebecca is a 48-year-old woman from Georgia with a bedspread that’s just a blown-up photo of Zied’s face. Zied is a 27-year-old man moving from Tunisia to live in America with Rebecca. Clearly, the two have made serious commitments to the relationship. Sure, they may have some obstacles in their way — Rebecca’s opinionated adult children and her apartment’s lack of literally even a single piece of furniture (does a professional grade ring light count?), for example. Still. If you compare the pair to some other couples appearing this season who seem to barely tolerate each other’s mere presence (cough, Natalie and Mike... ) and look past Zied’s constant and unchanging expression of panic, you can see that there’s real affection there.

But even if this is your first season of 90 Day, this isn’t Rebecca and Zied’s first 90 Day rodeo. And it’s not Rebecca’s first marriage, either. Spoiler: It’s her fourth. We learned during Rebecca and Zied’s first appearance on Before The 90 Days in 2019 that, shockingly, this wasn’t even Rebecca’s first time meeting a man online, marrying him, and having him move to the US. In fact, when Rebecca traveled to Tunisia to meet Zied in the 2019 episodes, she wasn’t even divorced from her Moroccan husband yet. It’s all pretty juicy. But after revealing the truth to Zied about her pending divorce, bonding over their love of leather jackets, and riding some camels through the desert, Zied and Rebecca got engaged anyway.
