I wholeheartedly agree! I feel like you can switch up traditions at the wedding reception... but leave the weddings traditional.

I tend not to be traditional, but I respect others who are. As a guest, I think the hardest thing is trying to gauge whether the bride/groom are going to be traditional or not, especially since it doesn't always match the non-wedding personality of the bride/groom. So sometimes I've wondered if I'm choosing a color that's, say, too bright for what the bride/groom would want.  

That said, even as a non-traditional person myself, anyone who wears white to a wedding is a monster. 

I am vey untraditional when it comes to a lot in life, I am someone who considers myself very open-minded. But when it comes to weddings, I find myself so... Traditional. Meaning, if I were to get married and some girl showed up in white, I'd be upset. I think your "first look" should be when you see each other at the aisle. I think men should be in black tuxes, not navy with brown shoes which everyone seems to be doing. I am finding myself feeling more opinionated on this than I ever thought I would be. And I want to know if I'm alone in this, or if you have any weddings do/don'ts that bother you!
