Oh come on drinking for sporting events is fun!!  (the only way I’ll attend or pay any attention to an event) and they’ve surprisingly made team specific attire cute for the girlies. Use these events as excuse to drink and dress up

That said, the World Cup is actually fun to get into. My favorite part about it is there's a time limit — the clock actually counts down, so you know how long of a commitment you're making. Plus, you can make fun pub dinners and have great beer!

Formula 1 and football.. you're on your own. So sorry for your situation.

One of the first times my BF stayed at my apartment he made us wake up at 6am to watch a soccer game. It was so upsetting but now i kinda find it endearing how much he loves this dumb sport

So I recently started seeing someone, and things are going good (too good tbh 👀) and I said, "omg you have to watch Ted Lasso" and he said, "wait till November, I lose my mind"... the World Cup.

 Now let me give some back story. When I originally went on a date with this man he looked artsy-fartsy and European, so I was like there is no way this man likes sports, I am in the clear. Yall. Do NOT judge a book by its cover because this man LOVES sports. All sports. Formula 1? Wakes up at 2 am to watch it with his buddies via zoom. Football? Has a small Tampa Bay Bucs flag. And now, the World f*cking Cup! Haven't I been through enough!?!?!
