Do you know what's better than Ramona Singer freaking out over getting the best bedroom on a Real Housewives vacation? Ramona Singer, Kyle Richards, Kenya Moore, Karen Huger, Luann De Lesseps, Kameron Westcott, Teresa Giudice, and Tamra Barney freaking over who gets the best bedroom on a Real Housewives vacation. And that's exactly what we'll have in store if these rumors of a Real Housewives spin-off are true.
Update on April 24: Instagram fan accounts, including @realhousewivesfranchise, have shared that Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Kyle Richards are The Chosen Ones for the Real Housewives all-stars vacation. Bravo has yet to release details about the spin-off, including confirming the cast, but the women are reportedly set to leave for their one-week vacation to Turks and Caicos on Sunday, April 25.
Earlier: Before you get too excited about this news (personally, for me, you'd think I was just told that I wasn't going to have to sleep in the Fish Room in the Berkshires), just know that there's very limited information (and confirmation) that this is actually happening.
The Jasmine Brand reported in February that it had been exclusively told by a "source" that this could turn into a "limited series that will feature women from multiple Housewives cities." Similar to Summer House — and its blessed child Winter House — this fever dream of an idea would involve the chosen Housewives (at the time The Jasmine Brand doesn't have any names listed, for what it's worth) going on a trip somewhere tropical and staying in a home together.
Now, Page Six has reported that Luann has been cast in the "tropical spin-off" with a bunch of other Housewives still in consideration. Bravo has still not released any statement on the rumors, but Page Six says that the show is set to "begin shooting in Turks and Caicos in April." (The Blast, however, reported in February that it was set to film in Mexico.) As long as there is tequila, I'm happy.
If the show does come to fruition, it would most likely premiere on NBC's streaming platform Peacock, where the Real Housewives of Miami reboot is taking place. Picture it: Karen can't drink because "of her ulcer," Sonja can't drink because of her "water pills." These are the scenarios people dream of! But until I hear that Ramona Singer is scheduling an ill-timed chemical peel, I'll keep my expectations in check.
The Dipp reached out to Bravo for comment, but did not hear back at the time of publishing.
