Definitely gotta get the fundamentals out of the way ASAP. (Which is why the Shaina/Kyle thing was so insane to me). Politics, religion, kids, as PinkJungle said. I'm also gonna be asking about how they spend their days. Being in the pods, you don't get to see people in their habitat... you can miss out on certain habits or traits (laziness, cleanliness) otherwise! 

All of these (mostly voting history and vaccine status) are mandatory, but I'd also want to know if they know the dance to the extended version of Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied" because if they don't... don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable. 

Oh I love that baby/airplane question!! Really shows someone's empathy or narcissism! 

The three things I think you have to agree on:

You might be able to work around 2 and 3, though it's much more difficult. There is a reason you don't talk Religion and politics at Thanksgiving. It don't work. Politics might be a little easier than religion, but not a lot. You might be Mary Matalin and James Carville, but, um, probably not. But if you don't agree on number one, forget it. It will simply not work.

“What posters were in your dorm room?” 

Lots of deal-breaker possibilities. Scarface poster means he’s basic as fuck. Wild Things poster means he’s gross. Sports poster means every Sunday and March will be dedicated to fighting over the remote. Fight Club poster means he’s wildly overcompensating. The Life Aquatic poster means he’s both intolerable and secretly misogynistic. 

“Do you like Joe Rogan” is a great way to find out a lot about a person in very little time. 

“Are Saturdays for the boys?” Another great way to weed out a fuckboi. And I never knew “Do you believe in science” would be something we would have to ask in this day but here we are. 

After watching Kyle and Shaina debate about evolution, I realized that if I were on Love is Blind, there might be some *important* questions I'd like answered before I decide to get married to someone I've never seen before.

So, in no particular order, here are some questions I'd prioritize over Shake's number one deal breaker, "Could I put you on my shoulders at a music festival?"

Who did you vote for in 2020? What are your thoughts on Joe Rogan? Does your family run a 5K on Thanksgiving? Which song from Encanto makes you tear up? Are you in therapy?  If a baby is screaming on the airplane, do you feel bad for the mom or mad at her? What is your zodiac sign (still have to wary of Leo men, ya know?) Where were you on January 6, 2021?
