I can buy that. Their shooting schedules align, they are together all the time for the sake of recording, and then all eyes on them, pressuring them to get to the altar. 

Think of how many relationships we all stayed in that we shouldn’t, just because we felt like it was the *thing to do*. Now imagine doing that in front of millions of viewers. It’s bound to keep you together.

Ugh I don't want to believe that it's in Kyle and Amanda's future but it might be. It's certainly in Jax and Brittany's future. I feel like Stassi and Beau will stay together, though. He's a Normal, which helps. We've seen Bravo weddings and vow renewals backfire on almost every seasons. VPR is now part of the statistic. And man, they've been miserable for so long that they def stayed together for the show. 

Maybe the show did? But I also feel like they've been together for SO long that it became a comfort thing. They both probably just go used to how their relationship worked, that they just dealt with it. I hope they both find people better suited for them! 

I do think there's massive pressure for on-screen couples who are primarily known for being a couple to get married. But then, after they check off that accomplishment, there's a realization that it just won't work out. 

As women, we're conditioned to look at marriage as an accomplishment, so we're more likely to follow through on relationships that aren't good for us, just so we can say that we accomplished it. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening here. 

On the latest bonus episode of HOTM, I broke down the relationship between Tom and Katie, who as of last night officially announced they are divorcing. And now I am wondering, they were only together because of the show right? And not in the sense of they only married for TV, but that the show was the glue that kept them together longer than they would've been. Because look at the other cast members, Raquel and James broke up right before they filmed the reunion. I would say something about Lala and Randall but that was clearly not a relationship heavily featured on the show and he was caught cheating, so the circumstances were different. 

But I have to know your thoughts, do you think the show kept them together? Is this in Kyle and Amanda's future? Or anyone who chooses to get married on camera?
