This actually seems to be a trend in a lot of reality TV. (Ahem, Big Brother.) I feel like producers think that younger cast members are more likely (or are more willing) to cause drama, but older contestants bring a much more interesting dynamic to reality TV. 

Especially in drag, I would love to see contestants that really have honed the craft. Even if they don’t bring as much drama, I feel like they would bring a reverence that would feel interesting. 

That’s interesting about their ages! Had no idea. Yeah maybe open the casting net wider and allow some more seasoned vets in the game 

Something isn't right about this season of Drag Race, and I think I put my finger on it. Upon, checking the cast list, I see everyone is under the age of 31. They are all in the crew of doing Drag since Drag Race's debut in 2009.

This has made me feel like everyone is from a very specific era of drag and honestly, they don't all seem confident in their art. 

So if you could change anything about the casting process of Drag Race, what would you change?
