8 'Bachelorette' Moments That Made It Clear It Was Always Zac & Tayshia

During the Season 16 finale of The Bachelorette, we all watched as Zac got down on one knee and proposed to Tayshia, which she tearfully accepted. But before he ever walked up to that podium, it was clear it would be these two left standing at the end of the reality TV show. And, no, I don't just mean because the lead of the ABC series decided to take a page from Rachel Lindsay and send her runner up home ahead of time (much kinder than letting the guy go through with a full proposal!). If you watched carefully, there were clues right from the start that Zac was the only one for Tayshia, and it was obvious before they ever even got to hometowns. Join me as we take a little stroll down memory lane.

He Had Heart Eyes From Moment One

The second that he laid eyes on her, it was clear that Zac was taken with Tayshia. In a confessional, he explained to the camera how all the jaws in the room dropped the second that she walked through that door, and he certainly wasn't exempt.

And Then They Actually Talked

Just look at the way he looks at her in that first conversation. He was smitten, and they'd hardly even gotten to know each other. Clare and Dale may have had actual, honest-to-God, legit love at first sight the second he stepped out of the limo, but it was clear something was already brewing on night one for Zac and Tayshia, too.
