Number 2! But also, whenever I put on a black ensemble to be cool and NYC-y I can't help but add color to it. But NOLA + spring = color!!

Have as much fun as truly feels fun! If something feels tooo out flashy and you feel in your gut you’ll probably feel uncomfortable, it’s not worth it. But all that really matters is you feel great in whatever you wear! 

DEFINITELY number two, mostly because of the location. It's the south! New Orleans, besides that! If that's not an excuse to add color, what else is? I mean, even the houses in New Orleans are crayon-colored — you should absolutely match your dress to the mood. 

Also, can I come? I would kill to go to a NOLA wedding. 

Black is best for late fall/early winter weddings. If it’s spring/summer, you gotta go with color. 

Is there a reason you would try to blend in though? Is it a finicky bride? Is it the first time you’re meeting a lot of people there?

Door number 2! I love a good blue or emerald green number! It's NOLA so it's kind of the vibe!

I never think about the occasion and instead get what I love, and that’s somewhere in between. Go with your heart.

Considering that it’s New Orleans which probably won’t be a traditional wedding you should go with door number two. Just don’t Kendall Jenner your outfit.

I have a wedding in New Orleans in early April. I need to buy a dress, but I'm unsure if I go with Door 1 or Door 2. 

Door 1: Simple black dress, nothing loud or wild. I'm a +1 and don't know many people. This isn't about me and I should just blend into the background. 

Door 2: It's a NOLA-style spring wedding! Have fun with it and be colorful. Don't be lame!
