So what happens now with Will Smith?

I’m really hoping that slap Will Smith laid on Chris Rock was somehow a joke, and by the end of the ceremony we’ll all sigh with relief. But it seemed real. Let’s assume it is real. Let’s assume that Smith really did storm the Oscars stage in anger and assault Rock, then threaten him verbally. What now?

Do we get a Smith apology tour? Do we get Rock and Smith to sit down with Oprah? Or at the red table? I’m not even making light. I’m just genuinely upset and feel uneasy and want everything to be ok again. I guess I want answers.

Hollywood and its machine are really good at making you think you know someone. Never did I think Smith would do anything remotely like this! It’s shocking.
