Now that the Younger series finale has aired, it's time to talk about what's next. In part one of our conversation with Younger star Nico Tortorella, we discussed their thoughts on the series finale and the Team Josh of it all and now, in part two, we chat about next steps. Could there be a Josh spinoff? What about that Younger musical we've heard about?

The Dipp: There has been some talk about turning Younger into a musical. Would you be game for that?

Nico Tortorella: It’s not even a question. I would love to be in a musical.

What about a Younger spinoff about Josh? The Kelsey spinoff might be off the table because of Hilary Duff’s commitment to Hulu’s How I Met Your Father, but …

I mean, I may have sent an email to the producers about a potential Josh spinoff. [Laughs] I don’t know how realistic that is, but I’ve always felt there is more story to tell about Josh and Gemma, like a father and daughter or co-parenting show, definitely. There’s room to grow, and I’m open to the conversation!

Outside of that, I would jump at the opportunity spend more time with this cast, whether it’s a limited series or a movie or who knows, considering the landscape of television is just so vast right now. Watching the Friends reunion and the new Mighty Ducks TV show, I realized it’s hard to kill anything that’s not entirely dead.
