Joe & Love Welcome 'Lil Baby Henry In 'You' Season 3

Before we get to the inevitable stalking, imprisoning, and murder of the new season of You, we have some baby news to celebrate. Joe and Love are having a baby boy! And they've got a name all picked out. The happy couple announced the news in the You Season 3 teaser, which also confirmed the premiere date: Oct. 15, 2021.

The teaser itself doesn't give away much about the new season, meaning no real clips or plot details. However, it does feature a faceless Joe putting on his favorite apron to... bake a cake for his new son, Baby Henry. Why Henry? Well, according to Joe's trademark creepy voiceover, it's a name that's "strong, but not intimidating, classic but not basic" and "literary."

Henry also the kind of perfectly normal name that might help a serial killer disappear, right Joe? In fact, right below the list of authors named "Henry" on the official Henry Wikipedia page (yes, it's a thing) is another category of famous Henrys, "Criminals." And there is only one name listed: Henry Lee Lucas, a serial killer who confessed to 600 murders across the U.S., was convicted for 11, and later was discovered to have been a killer and a massive liar. He's even the subject of his own Netflix docuseries, The Confession Killer.

I'm not saying Joe is naming his baby after an infamous serial killer, but I am also not not saying that.

Of course, when we last saw Joe, he was swearing to put his murderous ways behind him, something he's still insisting as his baby arrives. "For you, I can change," Joe promises in the voice over. "I'll be a man you look up to, a man you will be proud to call Dad." I think we all know where this is going, and it's not to Gymboree. No, Joe is not really the Daddy-Father daycare type. And, as the Season 3 synopsis teases, he's already falling into old patterns, obsessing over the woman next door. "Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love's lethal impulsiveness," it reads in part. "And then there's his heart. Could the woman he's been searching for all this time live right next door?"

I really hope Joe and Love are saving up for baby Henry, cause that kid's going to need some serious therapy if he wants to ahve any hope of not killingn someone in a glass cage one day.
