In my hands, I have one show is in contention for being the subject of the next episode of TV. Watch. Repeat. And that show... is... America's Next Top Model, the genre-defining reality TV series that swirled onto the scene in 2003. Though my co-host Allison Piwowarski and I are leaning into the series like a broken-down baby doll, the show didn't leave everyone smizing — the history of Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model Cycle 1 is filled with stories of friendship betrayals, alleged broken contracts, and lots and lots of frosted makeup.
