Lifetime's 'Harry & Meghan' Movie Oprah Interview Vs. The Real Thing Is Impressively On Point

Remind me to never fall in love with a prince, marry him, leave the royal family, and sit down for an interview with Oprah, or anything else that might turn my life into a Lifetime original movie. Because the recreation of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Oprah interview in the new lifetime movie, Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace, is terrifyingly accurate, and I am just not ready to meet my made-for-TV doppelgänger.

Despite this being Lifetime's third Harry & Meghan movie and the network's third casting of Harry and Meghan, Escaping the Palace managed to cast a royal couple near-identical to the real thing. Give everyone involved in this — casting, makeup, wardrobe — a raise because I would bet all my American dollars that my dad could not tell actors Sydney Morton and Jordan Dean from the real Harry and Meghan. (OK, my dad also has bad eyesight, but, my point still stands.) I'm just going to show you what I mean.

Here are Harry and Meghan:

PSYCH. That's not Harry and Meghan, that's Dean and Morton from Escaping the Palace. But, it looks freakishly good right? Ok, no jokes this time, here's the real Harry and Meghan:

Meghan (aka Morton) in particular is freakishly on point. The hair, the dress, the accessories — even the delicate hand placement on the belly is perfect. Harry (aka Dean) is definitely a little more off, but still, the overall picture is shocking. Now we just have to find out who they got to play Oprah, because that will really be Escaping the Palace's true test.

Lifetime's first teaser for Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace dropped Tuesday, and just based on the clip, you can see that the movie will reference other iconic moments in the couple's life, most notably the arrival of their son Archie. The teaser is short, but already you can tell that Morton and Dean really did their homework. Morton's voice sounds truly identical to Markle's, and it is enough to give me nightmares for life. (No one not related to you should sound/look so much like you, I'm sorry, that's just the truth.)

The movie doesn't have a release date yet, but it's expected to premiere sometime next fall. Will you be watching?
